Youth sports are leaning more and more toward winning at all costs, grooming future superstars, and parents living their lives vicariously through their children. We believe that youth sports should be about kids, and doing whats best for them. Basketball 4 Kids is about kids, and coaches learning whats best for their kids.
Our goal is to give young coaches and players the tools to become the best basketball players that they can be, and to have fun while doing it.
The NBA and NCAA Division I scholarships are great goals for players and coaches alike, however that is not the intent of our site.
We are not trying to say that players should not follow their NCAA dreams, or that you will never play in the NBA, but that is not what this site is about.
Every year an estimated 555,000 seniors make their high school teams. NCAA Division I and Division II schools offer only 7,800 scholarships per season, and only 450 players a year participate in the NBA. That means less than 2% of High school players will get an NCAA scholarship to play basketball, and less than 1% of them will play in the NBA.
There are hundreds of websites offering to help those lucky few, BBall4Kids.com is about teaching youth coaches and kids how to be the best they can be, and to have fun while doing it.
